Mikey got his bobble head from Aunt T and Uncle E while I was in Boston this past week. He was very excited and it will be the focus point of his Baseball room. Here is Magglio and Mikelio...

I was in Boston this week for work and went to a couple of cool places with another co-worker.

I had a beer at Cheers and sat in Norm's seat.

This graveyard from 1620 has Paul Revere, John Hancock, and Benjamin Franklin's parents burried in it.

Then we watched some dancers break off a little something for your viewing pleasure.

Hurricane Show

We went to a hurricane expo this past weekend with the Mendozas. The Sammy, Mikey, and Caleb had fun cause there was a lot for them to do. The photos below show them climbing in one of the fire trucks out there. The photo of Mikey driving is good because of the classic face his stinkin' sister was making behind him.

I learned that hurricanes are bad.

Grandpa Larry

Well, Larry is finally a grandpa. Sarah had a c-section today and out came Addison Elaine Tapley. 6lbs2oz and 18.5 inches long. Larry is all smiles. The first email with pictures sent by Margaret had no photos of Larry and his granddaughter. I called Larry to ask where the photos of him and the baby were. I had just assumed that the doctors would not allow Larry near the baby until he could somehow prove he was related. I finally got some proof that Larry is indeed allowed to hold the baby...

Mom, Dad, and baby are all doing fine. As far as grandpa, well...

CONGRATS GRANDPA SCHMIDT!!

Son of a.......

I ran into a colony of fire ants when I was planting a palm tree next to the pool. Those s.o.b's lit me up something fierce. At first I thought I kneeled on a twig or something. Once one bit, it must have released some signal to it's friends. All at once they starting tearing into me. Not fun. The little bastards left welts down both legs. This happened on Saturday and the photo is five days later.

Mikey also came down with something today. The little guy has a fever of 104. He didn't have the strength to see his dad and his team get smoked in softball tonight.
